Supplement Strategy:

I have learned over the years that I get best results with my prostate related supplements when I take them on an intermittent basis. I rotate some of my prostate-specific supplements on a seasonal basis to keep my cancer guessing.

The Keys:

Have faith

Reduce stress levels

Eat a healthy low fat, dairyless, whole grain vegetarian type diet

Get a minimum of eight hours of sleep each night

Never get complacent, even after treatment

Do your due diligence and homework before you make a protocol decision

Aggressive Watchful Waiting Protocol for those with prostate cancer:

Vegetarian oriented, Non-Dairy, Low Fat Diet: No meat, poultry, or dairy products, occasional fish. Avoid processed foods when possible. Try to eat organically grown foods. When using cooking oil, olive and coconut oils are the safe choices but use minimal amounts. Try to avoid alcoholic beverages. Consider getting a Metabolic Typing test to assure optimal food for your metabolism.

Meditation: To reduce stress, balance the emotions, gain inner peace and calm. Qi Gong or Yoga is a good choice.

Exercise: Moderate daily exercise is a must. Walking or running for at least 1/2 hour daily. A weight-training program is suggested, emphasizing flexibility and range of motion.

Support Group Participation: Cancer patients in support groups live twice as long as non-members.

Aggressive Vitamins & Supplements: See above.

The Keys: Have a positive attitude, reduce stress, eat healthily, get plenty of rest. Laughter is part of the healing equation, get some every day. Don’t get complacent, do your homework before you make a cancer protocol decision.
