You are cordially invited to participate in PAF sponsored Bay Area hikes. Hikes take place in the immediate Bay Area. All hikes begin at 10am and last 4-6 hours. Terrain varies but generally the hikes are of a moderate nature. You do not have to have prostate issues to participate, but trail talk often is about prostate concerns. Women are most welcome to join in. Fact: Recent clinical studies indicate that those men dealing with prostate cancer who have a consistent exercise program have the slowest disease progression. These weekly hikes are a great way to meet those of a similar interest, get or stay in shape and proactively take care of yourself. Bring your own snacks, lunch and plenty of water. Contact Ken Malik at kamalik@prostateawarenessfoundation.org or call him at 415-407-3961(c) at least one day before the hike to let us know you plan to attend and to review logistics and potential car pooling.
